Stephanie Kibler is the owner/director of Kibler Dance Academy. She started her dancing career at the age of seven. She received her dance training starting with Susan Powell Dance Center and the Canton Ballet. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Management from Baldwin-Wallace College. She has studied in New York City at Broadway Dance Center and has attended many dance conventions to study all forms of dance. In 1995, Stephanie was selectively chosen for a scholarship from Ohio Arts Council. Stephanie has been teaching dance for fifteen years, and opened Kibler Dance Academy five years ago. Throughout her years of teaching, she has earned numerous choreography awards and overall awards at both regional and national levels. She travels to New York City frequently to attend dance teacher conferences to help further her knowledge in the dance world. Stephanie also has a love for theater and has choreographed shows including: Berea High School’s production of “Anything Goes” and Young Actors Studio’s productions of “Peter Pan”, “Annie Jr.”, and “Grease”. Stephanie is excited to start her seventh year at Kibler Dance Academy and is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with her students.

Jennifer Kibler is an instructor, artistic designer, and marketing manager at Kibler Dance Academy. She began her dance career at the age of 3 and studied at the Melissa Popovich Dance Studio, Al’s Gymnastics, and Susan Powell Dance Center. Jennifer was a competitive dancer and cheerleader and has won many prestigious awards both regionally and nationally. Jennifer attended Baldwin-Wallace College and received a BA with a major in Business and Minor in Studio Art. She continued her dance education throughout college where she also performed on the dance team and in dance concerts. Jennifer has been sought after for her judging and choreography abilities at both high school and collegiate levels. Jennifer is a competition choreographer at Kibler Dance Academy and has earned numerous awards and high score awards for her dance pieces. Jennifer frequently travels to New York to attend dance teacher conferences to extend her knowledge in dance, business, and marketing. This year marks Jennifer’s 7th year teaching at Kibler Dance Academy, and also her 1st year as the choreographer for the Hudson High School Swing Marching Band Dancers. Jennifer loves combining her love of dance and art and sharing that with the studio, community and beyond. |

Jeanne Morehart Mahaffey started her dance career at the age of 7. Her dancing started at the Canton Ballet and then she was recruited by The Cleveland Ballet. Her professional dance career was spent at The Cleveland Ballet, The Cleveland Metropolitan Opera and also as a model. She has studied under such famous instructors as Ian Horvath (Cleveland Ballet), Dennis Nahat (Cleveland Ballet), Cynthia Gregory (American Ballet Theatre), Roni Mahler (American Ballet Theatre), William Griffith (Cleveland Ballet), Gus Giordano (Gus Giordano Dance Company), John Prinz (American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet) and David Howard (Harkness Ballet). Jeanne’s training from the School of Cleveland Ballet is truly American in its eclectic nature, taking the best of Russian (Vaganova), French, Italian (Cecchetti), (R.A.D.) systems. Jeanne taught at numerous studios including The Canton Ballet before opening her own studio, Avondale Dance Centre. She has adapted the ballet syllabus to accommodate the competitive dancer. She has earned numerous awards including scholarships from Ballet Met, Cleveland Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. She has also been awarded numerous choreography and technique awards, outstanding lyrical and top teacher from dance competitions all over the United States. She has recently attended workshops under such famous choreographers as Sonya Tayeh, Mia Michaels and Jeff Shade. She also travels to New York City to attend dance teacher conferences. Jeanne’s love of dance has recently expanded to teaching at numerous schools throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. This is Jeanne’s first year as an instructor at Kibler Dance Academy. |

Suzanne Heckroth joined Kibler Dance Academy in March 2007. Her responsibilities include customer service, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She also serves as a substitute dance instructor. Suzanne began dancing at the age of 3 in Sharon, PA. She studied tap, ballet, jazz and pointe with Linda Morris and Bonnie Banick for 15 years. Suzanne attended St Joseph’s School, where she was a cheerleader and Kennedy Christian High School, where she was a member of the dance line, concert and jazz bands and golf team. As graduate from John Carroll University, Suzanne earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry and was also a cheerleader for four years. In February 1998, she performed two contemporary pieces with the Beth Elliott Dance Group in Great Mills, Maryland. Suzanne began her professional career in Sharon, PA as an inside sales representative for Winner Steel Services followed by a chemist for Pennsylvania Consumers Water Company. During this time she was also the girls’ golf coach for Kennedy Christian High School. Suzanne then moved to Owings Mills, MD where we was Laboratory Resource Manager for InVitro Technologies for five years. She now lives in Hudson with her husband Mark and their two children. |
